Le présent cours tyype a pour but de répondre aux impératifs minima obligatoires de la formation des capitaines, maîtres d'équipage, officiers ingénieurs en chef, officiers ingénieurs en second et de toute personne à laquelle est confiée la responsabilité immédiate de l'embarquement et du débarquement des passagers, du chargement, du déchargement ou de l'assujetissement de la cargaison, ou de la fermeture des ouvertures de coque. Il est basé sur les dispositiions de la section A-V/2 et du tableau A-V/2 du Code STCW.

This model course is essentially a practical one and consists of a series of exercises structured around the operation of the cargo and ballast installation of an oil tanker and carried out in conjunction with a simulator.

Le présent cours type a pour but de fournir la formation aux candidats pour assurer les opérations de pêche à bord des navires, conformément au paragraphe 6 de la règle 1 du chapitre III, et de l'annexe 2.2 de la résolution 4 du Document joint numéro 2 de la Convention STCW-F 95 de l'OMI. Le présent programme du cours englobe les prescriptions de la Convention STCW-F de 1995 et celles des chapitres 6.24 et 6.29 du Document FAO/OIT/OMI destiné à servir de guide pour la formation du personnel des navires de pêche et la délivrance des brevets. Le cours est ouvert à tout le personnel des navires de pêche appelé à servir à bord des navires de pêche en mer. Il n'y a pas de prescriptions scolaires particulières pour l'admission.

The International Code of Safety for High-Speed Craft, 1994 (1994 HSC Code) was adopted by the Maritime safety Committee at its sixty-third session (May 1994) by resolution MSC.36(63), the 1994 SOLAS Conference (May 1994) made the 1994 HSC Code mandatory by the addition of a new chapter X which came into force in January 1996.

The 1994 HSC Code has been developed following a revision of the Code of Safety for Dynamically Supported Craft (resolution A.373(X)) and in recognition of the growth in size and types of high-speed craft.

This model course provides training in elementary first aid at operator’s level and is based on the provisions of table A-VI/4-1 of the STCW Code.

This model course is for candidates who will undertake fishing operations on board ship, in accordance with chapter III, regulation 1.6, and attachment 2, resolution 4, annex 2.2 of STCW-F. It covers the requirements of the STCW-F and IMO/FAO/ILO Document for Guidance on Training and Certification of Fishing Vessel Personnel, chapter 6.24 and 6.29, and is open to all fishing vessel personnel who are to serve on board sea-going Fishing vessels. There are no particular educational entry requirements.
