Directives sur la fatigue
More LessLa fatigue est un risque car elle peut avoir une incidence sur la capacité des gens de mer à s’acquitter de leurs tâches avec efficacité et en toute sécurité. Il est important de signaler que la fatigue affecte tout un chacun, indépendamment de ses aptitudes, de ses connaissances et de sa formation. Les présentes Directives ont été mises au point dans le but d’informer toute partie qui a une influence directe sur la sécurité d’un navire (architectes navals, propriétaires/exploitants, capitaines, officiers, matelots, établissements de formation, etc.) sur la nature de la fatigue, ses causes, les mesures de prévention et les mesures correctives.
Les Directives sur la fatigue ont été approuvées par le Comité de la sécurité maritime (MSC) de l’Organisation maritime internationale (OMI) et sont composées de modules indépendants dont chacun aborde la question de la fatigue sous différents angles : la compagnie, les gens de mer, la sensibilisation et la formation, la conception du navire, l’Administration et les autorités de l’État du port. Elles comprennent éaglement des exemples d’outils permettant de surveiller le sommeil et la fatigue.

Directrices sobre la Fatiga
More LessLa fatiga es un peligro porque puede afectar a la capacidad de la gente de mar de desarrollar su labor de manera eficaz y segura. Es importante destacar que la fatiga afecta a todas las personas, independientemente de sus aptitudes, conocimientos y formación. Las presentes directrices se han elaborado a fin de informar a todas las partes que estén involucradas en la seguridad del buque (gente de mar, Administraciones, proyectistas de buques, compañías, proveedores de formación, etc.) sobre la naturaleza de la fatiga, sus causas, las medidas preventivas y las medidas correctivas.
Las Directrices sobre la fatiga han sido aprobadas por el Comité de seguridad marítima de la Organización Marítima internacional (OMI) y contienen módulos independientes que abordan la cuestión de la fatiga desde diferentes ángulos: la compañía, la gente de mar, la concienciación y formación, el proyecto de buque, y la Administración y autoridades del Estado rector del puerto. También contienen ejemplos de herramientas de vigilancia del sueño y la fatiga y un ejemplo de un formulario de notificación de un evento de fatiga.

Guidelines on Fatigue
More LessFatigue is a hazard because it may affect a seafarer’s ability to do their job effectively and safely. Importantly, fatigue affects everyone regardless of skill, knowledge and training. These guidelines were developed to inform each party that has a direct involvement in ship safety (seafarers, Administrations, ship designers, companies, training providers, etc.) of the nature of fatigue, its causes, preventive measures and countermeasures.
Approved by the Maritime Safety Committee of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), the guidelines in this publication are composed of self-contained modules addressing the issue of fatigue from different angles: the company, the seafarer, awareness and training, ship design, and the Administration and port State authorities. It also includes examples of sleep and fatigue monitoring tools and of fatigue event report information.

More LessEl objetivo del Convenio internacional sobre normas de formación, titulación y guardia para la gente de mar, 1978 (Convenio de formación), es acrecentar la seguridad de la vida humana y de los bienes en el mar y la protección del medio marino estableciendo normas internacionales de formación, titulación y guardia para la gente del mar.
La presente publicación recoge el Acta final de la Conferencia de 2010 de las Partes en el Convenio de formación de 1978, las resoluciones adoptadas por esa conferencia y el texto completo y refundido del Convenio de formación, los artículos originales, el Anexo revisado y el Código de formación. En ella también se incluyen las enmiendas al Convenio y al Código adoptadas en 2014, 2015 y 2016.

La présente publication contient l’Acte final de la Conférence de 2010 des Parties à la Convention STCW de 1978, les résolutions adoptées par la Conférence et un texte récapitulatif complet de la Convention STCW comprenant les articles d’origine, l’Annexe révisée et le Code STCW y relatif auquel renvoie l’Annexe révisée. This publication also includes the amendments to the Convention and the Code adopted in 2014, 2015 and 2016.

More LessThis pocket guide is intended primarily for seafarers. It provides information which will help you if you areunlucky enough to fall into cold water, or have to enter it in an emergency, or have to use survival craft in cold conditions. It also provides information which will help seafarers, trained as first-aid providers, to treat those rescued from cold conditions.
This guide briefly examines the hazards of exposure to the cold that may endanger life, and provides advice based on the latest medical and scientific opinion on how to prevent or minimize those dangers. It is a sad fact that people continue to die at sea through a lack of this knowledge. Knowing what is likely to happen if you are exposed to cold water is a survival aid in itself. A thorough understanding of the information contained in this booklet may some day save your life – or someone else’s.
