This course aims to facilitate the training for company security officers so they can meet the mandatory minimum standards of competence in training and certification in accordance with Guidelines on training and certification for company security officers (MSC.1/Circ.1154) and the ISPS Code, Part A.

This publication establishes a universal system of tonnage measurement for ships engaged in international voyages; it includes:

• Final Act of the Conference;
• International Convention on Tonnage Measurement of Ships (Tonnage), 1969, including: Regulations for determining gross and net tonnages of ships and International Tonnage Certificate;
• Recommendations adopted by the Conference.

This Conference resulted from a resolution passed by the International Conference on Special TradePassenger Ships, 1971, which required the formulation of technical rules covering the safety aspects ofthe disposition of passengers on special trade passenger ships. This publication contains:

La Conférence internationale de 1989 sur l'assistance a été convoquée dans le but d'établir des règles internationales uniformes concernant les opérations d'assistance et a abouti à l'adoption de la Convention internationale sur l'assistance, 1989. Cette publication comprend :

La presente edición refundida del Convenio de Facilitación incluye las enmiendas de 2022 (resolución FAL.14(46)), adoptada en el 46º periodo de sesiones del Comité de Facilitación. Estas enmiendas, que entran en vigor el 1 de enero de 2024, abordan asuntos como los sistemas de ventanilla única, la transmisión electrónica de datos, las lecciones aprendidas de la pandemia de COVID-19 y los esfuerzos para contrarrestar los efectos de la corrupción.

También se incluyen en esta publicación las enmiendas de 2023 (resolución FAL.15(47)) cuya entrada en vigor está prevista el 1 de enero de 2025. Estas enmiendas afectan a la Práctica recomendada 7.11, y tienen por objeto abordar la necesidad de combatir las actividades ilícitas en los programas nacionales de facilitación de los Gobiernos.

This Convention was the first multilateral instrument to be concluded with the prime objective of protecting the environment. It is concerned with the agreement between the Governments involved to prevent pollution of the sea by oil discharged from ships. The text published is as amended in 1962 and 1969.

The International Convention on Oil pollution Preparedness, Response and Co-operation, 1990, was adopted at a conference convened in November 1990 for the purpose of establishing precautionary measures and effective preparation for combating Oil pollution incidents involving ships, offshore units, sea ports and oil handling facilities. The publication includes:
