Code
This series gathers mandatory and non-mandatory codes adopted by IMO related to a variety of subjects, such as dangerous goods, fire safety, search and rescue, collisions, life-saving appliances, chemicals, high-speed crafts, and many others.

أقرَّت لجنة السلامة البحرية في دورتها التاسعة والسبعين عام 2004 هذه المدونة المنقَّحة وأقرتها لجنة مصايد الأسماك التابعة لمنظمة الأغذية والزراعة للأمم المتحدة في دورتها السادسة والعشرين عام 2005 وأقرتها الهيئة الإدارية لمنظمة العمل الدولية في دورتها الثالثة والتسعين بعد المئة عام 2005. وتنقسم المدونة إلى جزأين (يُباع كل منهما على حدة):

The revised Code was approved by the Maritime Safety Committee (MSC) at its seventy-ninth session in 2004 by the FAO Committee on Fisheries at its twenty-sixth session in 2005 and by the Governing Body of International Labour Organization (ILO) at its 293rd Session in 2005. It is divided into two parts (sold separately):

Le Recueil révisé a été approuvé par le Comité de la sécurité maritime (MSC) à sa soixante-dix-neuvième session en 2004 par le Comité des pêches de la FAO à sa vingt-sixième session en 2005 et par le Conseil d'administration du BIT à sa 293ème session en 2005. Il est divisé en deux parties (vendues séparément) :
- Partie A - Directives pratiques de sécurité et d'hygiène 2005
- Partie B - Dispositions à prévoir en matière de sécurité et d'hygiène pour la construction et l'équipement des navires de pêche 2005

Código NGV 1994
The International Code of Safety for High-Speed Craft 1994 (1994 HSC Code) was adopted by the Maritime safety Committee at its sixty-third session (May 1994) by resolution MSC.36(63) the 1994 SOLAS Conference (May 1994) made the 1994 HSC Code mandatory by the addition of a new chapter X which came into force in January 1996.
The 1994 HSC Code has been developed following a revision of the Code of Safety for Dynamically Supported Craft (resolution A.373(X)) and in recognition of the growth in size and types of high-speed craft.

ISPS Code
International Ship and Port Facility Security Code and SOLAS Amendments adopted on 12 December 2002
The Code aims among other things to establish an international framework for co-operation between Contracting Governments Government agencies local administrations and the shipping and port industries to detect security threats and take preventive measures against security incidents affecting ships or port facilities used in international trade and to establish relevant roles and responsibilities at the national and international level.

Código BSMA
The purpose of the Code of Safe Practice for the Carriage of Cargoes and Persons by Offshore supply vessels (OSV Code) which was adopted by resolution A.863(20) is to provide for both the operator and contractor an international standard to avoid or to reduce to a minimum the hazards which affect Offshore supply vessels in their daily operation of carrying cargoes and persons from and between offshore installations. This standard should be considered when implementing a safety-management system within the meaning of paragraph 1.4 of the International Safety Management (ISM) Code.

Recueil OSV
L'objet du Recueil de règles pratiques pour la sécurité du transport de cargaisons et de personnes par des navires ravitailleurs au large (Recueil OSV) adopté par la résolution A.863(20) est d'établir à l'intention de l'exploitant comme du contractant une norme internationale visant à éviter ou réduire au minimum les dangers auxquels sont quotidiennement exposés les navires ravitailleurs au large effectuant le transport de cargaisons et/ou de personnes à destination et en provenance des installations au large ou entre entre celles-ci. Cette norme devrait être prise en considération lors de la mise en oeuvre d'un système de gestion de la sécurité selon les modalités prévues au paragraphe 1.4 du Code international de gestion de la sécurité (Code ISM) de l'OMI

MODU Code
The Code for the Construction and Equipment of Mobile Offshore Drilling Units 1989 (1989 MODU Code) was adopted by resolution A.649(16) and concerns MODUs built since 1 May 1991.
The Maritime safety Committee (MSC) adopted amendments to the 1989 MODU Code in May 1991 and decided that to maintain compatibility with SOLAS the amendments should become effective on 1 February 1992. Further amendments were adopted in May 1994 to introduce the Harmonized System of Survey and Certification (HSSC) into the Code provide guidelines for vessels with dynamic positioning systems and introduce provisions for helicopter facilities.
The Committee decided that the amendments introducing the HSSC should become effective on the same date as the 1988 SOLAS and Load Line Protocols relating to the HSSC (i.e. 3 February 2000) and that those providing guidelines for vessels with dynamic positioning systems and provisions for helicopter facilities should become effective on 1 July 1994. This publication supersedes the 1979 edition and contains a consolidated text of the 1989 MODU Code and the 1991 and 1994 amendments.

OSV Code
Code of Safe Practice for the Carriage of Cargoes and Persons by Offshore Supply Vessels
The purpose of the Code of Safe Practice for the Carriage of Cargoes and Persons by Offshore supply vessels (OSV Code) which was adopted by resolution A.863(20) is to provide for both the operator and contractor an international standard to avoid or to reduce to a minimum the hazards which affect Offshore supply vessels in their daily operation of carrying cargoes and persons from and between offshore installations. This standard should be considered when implementing a safety-management system within the meaning of paragraph 1.4 of the International Safety Management (ISM) Code.

Code of Safety for Diving Systems 1995
This Code (resolution A.536(13) as amended by resolution A.831(19)) was formulated to minimize the risks to ships and to floating structures equipped with diving systems and their divers and personnel and to facilitate the international movement of these ships and floating structures in the context of diving operations. To achieve this the Code recommends design criteria and construction equipment and survey standards for diving systems.

Código CIG
The purpose of the International Code for the Construction and Equipment of Ships Carrying Lyquified Gases in Bulk (IGC Code 1993) is to provide an international standard for the safe carriage by sea of liquefied gases (and other substances listed in the Code) in bulk. To minimize risks to ships involved in such carriage to their crews and to the environment the Code prescribes the design and constructional standards of such ships and the equipment they should carry.
This edition remains valid and applies to all applicable ships constructed before 1 January 2016.
